We continue to make OneList better for our clients and new companies looking to benefit from a solution that provides a central approvals list with instant access to workflow tasks across multiple backend applications including SAP, SharePoint, and Salesforce. Here is what’s new in Version 7.1.1, more technical details can be found in the release notes.

Improved Task Action History

The Task Action History is a very important and useful feature in OneList, in Version 7.1.1 OneList includes the following features:

  • Action Comments : OneList now stores and displays your Action Comments.
  • Pending Indicator : OneList now indicates which Tasks you’ve just actioned and are still waiting for source system processing.
  • Action Highlights : OneList now highlights the Action you’ve taken based on the configured action’s colour. This makes it easier for your eyes while you’re scrolling through the History List.
  • Improved History Sync : OneList now executes a delta sync of your Action History with OneList Server once your action has been stored for processing.

Improved Task Delegations

The improved Task Delegations UI and Administration was part of our first Version 7.1 release. We have included this in our technical highlights as the holidays are coming and Task Delegations is yet another important and useful feature in OneList.

Below are some technical highlights on what’s new in Task Delegations in OneList:

1.Delegation Adapters: OneList now supports:

  • Workflow Type: This is the Workflow Type or Workflow Engine.
See the definition of workflow types and profiles per source system in https://iqxbusiness.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ONELIST70/pages/1018232843/Manage+Delegation+Adapters
  • Delegation Profile: This is the Workflow Name or the Profile name which allows you to group multiple Task Categories by Profile (e.g. SAP Substitution Profile).
See the definition of workflow types and profiles per source system in https://iqxbusiness.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ONELIST70/pages/1018232843/Manage+Delegation+Adapters
  • Selection Rule: Selection Rule is None by default. Set the Selection Rule to Exclusive by Source System Workflow Type if multiple profiles per source system and workflow type cannot be delegated to the same approver at the same period.
  • Default Profile: This allows you to set the default profile for Task Delegations in case there are multiple Profiles under the same Workflow Type and the Selection Rule is set to Exclusive by Source System Workflow Type.

2. User Delegations: OneList now has an improved Delegation UI which makes it easier for Approvers to Delegate their Tasks by Profile, Default Profile (if any), or All Profiles via the [Delegate All] button.

The improved UI also includes Delegation Status Indicators which means:

  • Blue: The delegation is new and is pending synchronization with the source system
  • Green: The delegation is synced with the source system
  • Orange: The delegation was synced with the sources system and has been modified in OneList and pending synchronization with the source system
  • Red: The delegation was invalid or something went wrong.
